I love this place.

As with many here, native or not, I’m in Portland because Oregon speaks to me, my soul. Green, lush, naturally cool. A place full of thinkers, do-ers, designers. Great food, influential music, big ideas and, more and more, hand crafted clothing. It's all right here.

Since 2007, Union Rose has been a place where you can get to know the people who make the clothes on your back. All the designers and artists represented in the shop do their work here in Portland. I’m the owner, but I’m also one of those local people, designing and sewing clothes in my studio in the back of the shop. I can tell you about any designer whose beauties are found at Union Rose, but if you purchase a Big Brown Eyes dress, it was made by me. With my hands. Hi, I’m Nicole.

You’ll marvel at the things you find here. Beautifully designed, handcrafted items that will speak to you and make you love them. They will be well made. The attention to detail will make you smile. It might be one of a kind. It will have been made with care, and I am proud to offer such lovely, carefully crafted things to you.

Clothing for women, men and children, jewelry, gifts, accessories. You could say it’s your go-to shop. Lots of people in Portland call it just that. Now I’m pleased to offer it beyond these four walls.
